brother dcp 115c wont do anything

my brother dcp -115c has e error message that reads .Unable to print,see troubleshooting and routin maintenance chapter in users guild.i have done
what the manual told me to do,but to no avail.can anyone tell me how to repair or maybe even over ride this problem.Any help appreciated,Thankyou.
