Some repair manual or circuit needed for my scanjet

The case is- the scanner can't recognise the home position. The lamp moves to the home position and motor coninues moving. I suspect that something is wrong with the stepper-motor driver.

Any help, welcome.

if the motor remains active,it is good. it is the home limit sensor that may be shot or the tab that is used to indicate it is broken. disassembleand check the sensors and connectors associated.
new/used scanners are cheap and broken ones offer u a vast wealth of parts.
