Vestel 11AK49 (JVC) Chassis with protection fault

Anyone got any experience with these sets. This unit originally had a RGB ouput chip s/c, which has now been replaced. The set now powers on with a small unfocussed raster with flyback lines, there is some evidence of a picture, although its hard to see and sound is OK. It trips off within 2 seconds f the picture appearing. Some thing is causing the micro to shut the set down. Checked all supplies etc, will now move onto the inputs the micro, but any help would be apopreciated.
