hi all, can anyone please advise what the main psu switching fet is in this set, i have one which the fet is blown with a hole in so i am unable to read it, i can just make out p7n......... not sure what the rest reads, i hope some one can help, jon. |

hi has anyone got any ideas why this set is dead? replaced main psu transistor, fuse and 47 ohm resistor, then found a in4148 diode s/c. still dead, does anyone have any futher advice or info?? thanks. |

so would it be a fault in the horizontal stage thats causing it to be dead?? will it not be more of a psu fault?? |

oh ok, does the fault go hand in hand with the psu blowing up then?? does it give the symptons of totally dead?? thanks for your help. |

The red light comes on then go's off, usually. The horizontal is part of the power supply. The primary feeds the secondary where horizontal is formed. |
