Hello, I have a Sony kp-48v45 that I just got. when I bought it, only a line in the middle of the screen would come on. I opened the back and found a wire conector unpluged on the board that ran from some type of copper coil around the blue bulb. This is my first time messing with a projection TV, so I'm guessing this copper coil is for focus, Maybe? Anyway when I pluged it in and turn the Tv on, it would power up, full screen, than poof off it goes.
I also have a Sony kp-46v25 that I can use for parts if need be, thats if the parts will interchange. Any help would be great. Thanks. |
