Mitsubishi WD-52627 fix?

New to the forum and could use the help of others more knowledgeable than me on these DLP sets.

I am experiencing problems with the screen going black on the left half of the Mitsubishi WD-52627. Anyone else have this problem or hear of a fix?

Details: Set was manufactured in Sept 2005. Left half the screen goes black. Picture does not shrink, just loses left half of screen to the black screen. Right have displays fine, audio is fine.
