Convergence off

I have a 50ux18b, about 10-15 years old. Never a problem until today. The red convergence is off. The convergence adjustment is manual on my set but the red will not come into line. I have read about the IC. Where is it, what is it and can I replace it. I do not have any of the manuals for the set. To many moves and years have passed.
