| The LCD display on my Yamaha tx-340 tuner is dead. Anybody have something similar happen to them? Any ideas for fixing it? I'd hate to through it out. Thanks in advance. |

Is rest of the unit working? Tunes stations - outputs audio?
Does unit use a miniature incandescent lamp? Does shining a flashlight into front of display show station/info?
