|
|
Hi all,
Just a short question. Is it possible to record from an audio mixer (from the headphone socket) directly onto a PC (through the mic socket on the sound card)?
I'm not really a full bottle on audio equipment so any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Dan |

You can always try it, but very likely it is going to sound distorted due to impedace/level mismatching.
Headphone socket output is generally way too much for a microphone input.
Normally you use something like "line in" or "aux" input for audio, if/when your laptop's sound card is so equipped. |
