Some weeks ago, i decided to try getting a really old tv (a swedish-made Skantic of about 1959 vintage) up and running. After fixing the obvious faults - i.e. one faulty valve, lots of leaking wax capacitors, corroded fuse holders etc - it runs, but the picture geometry is way off - about 30 % too much picture width and it is impossible to get good vertical linearity. The EHT voltage is correct at about 15 kV and the width stabilization works well.
Someone has replaced the deflection yoke in the past, now a Philips AT1030 yoke is fitted there, and it obviously does not have the correct inductances.
This is a very early 110° television, using the AW 53-88 CRT.
When looking at schematics and parts list for some other similar tv chassis, one finds that sets using the Philips AT2021/21 line output transformer always have a AT1009/02 yoke. Sets with AT2018/21 LOPT have AT1009/01 yoke.
But the LOPT of this set is yet older, AT2016/21. Does someone know if the AT1009/01 is the correct yoke for this LOPT or if there was a AT1009 without suffix too?
Or does someone have any of those old yokes around and have the possibility to measure the inductances and resistances of the coils?
I haven't been able to find any documentation for exactly this model, just for a lot of chassis from about one year later.
