Panasonic Child lock on Guest

I have a Panasonic CT32G4 that somehow got child locked with a four digit unknown code in the "always" mode. Factory default reset procedure was followed under panasonic phone support service direction but it did not release the lock and I was advised to take it to a service center. Owners manual states that if the always mode is on and you do not have the code you must take it to a repair center for reset. This is neither practical or economical. I can open the back and perhaps reset some jumpers or whatever. Please, I do not want to throw the tv away for this reason. Can anyone help?

You have been given the correct advice- there are n o jumpers, switches to change inside set- it is done by reprogramming the eeprom, which requires a special service remote & special knowledge/procedure. If you inquire in your locality, you will find a tech who will do this for you for a moderate fee(I can't do it as I am busy-up & away Rudolph!) |
