hi i have an acer aspire 3000 i removed the battery to clean the computer and when i plugged it in again it turn the notebook on but the screen is black and a yellow led is blinking, when i press the power botton it turns off the notebook but when i press it again to turn it on, the same thing happens the screen is black the fan is on and the yellow led is blinking any help

When you say you removed the battery, do you mean the cmos battery on the motherboard?

This may sound stupid but is the battery charged and the lab top plugged in?
