Hitach 46F510 picture too dark

I have a Hitachi rear projection tv. The picture is too dark, the brightness setting is at maximum.

* PROCEDURE:
o Clean the Spark Gaps on each CRT PWB.
o Remove the Cap, clean the contacts with thin fine sand paper then blow out excess.
o Reseal.

Its working now. It just took me more time because I messed up the SCREEN adjustments before I got your instructions. But everything is OK now. Thanks.

The tv has another problem, the picture is greenish and out of focus. Does it has something to do with adjustment or I need to replace a part?

Adjust the green focus and play with the green screen control to get rid of the tint. Turn the color all the way off, adjust the screen controls until you have a good black and white picture.
