I have a JVC AV-31BP5 that received damage by lightning strike a few doors down. I looked at the fuse on the board where the power cord plugs in to the board and it appears OK, but I don't have means of testing it otherwise. Are there any other "simple" things I could check for? I am just trying to determine if it should go in the bulk trash tomorrow or would it be relatively cheap to repair if I took it somewhere. I'm hoping for a quick response since bulk is tomorrow. Thanks!
Other info:
TV will not turn on, no power light. If I unplug it for a few minutes and then plug it back in, I will get a type of click noise, but still no response from the remote or buttons on the front of the set. |
