problem with tv

I have sony kves34m61. i bought it second hand.when put on with the on button on the front of tv the standby led blinks ten times and then it goes red but the tv turns on and runs normal. when put on from standby mode with remote the led blinks five times and then it goes red but the tv runs normal.the sound quality appears abit distorted. can anybody comment what is the problem
