I've bought a secondhand CPD-E530 21" FD Trinitron CRT Monitor from Sony in mint condition. Year of prod. 2002
It functions perfectly(almost), the image is beautiful, crisp and sharp, and, contrastful. Never seen such deep black from a CRT. But sometimes the color uniformity of the screen is not perfect in the corners. When I'm adjust the landing in the OSD MENU, I get a perfect and stable image for a session of hours. But with the next computersession on a next day I have to readjust the landing again. The setting values are always saved.
What could be the problem? I have the service manual.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thx for the many helpful advises...
Cool

The problem seems to be solved. The inner Degauss coil PTC Thermistor replacement done it perfectly.
So everyone who has color purity or degauss related problems, just take a look at the PTC Thermistor, and replace it when needed.
It costs about 2 Euro.

Does anybody have, or knows a download place for a 64bit driver for this CPD-E530 Display?
My OS is Windows XP Professional X64 Edition SP2.

It's highly doubtful that you'll be able to get a 64-bit driver for such an old piece of equipment. There are tons of current products that 64-bit drivers are not available for.
