My Samsung Syncmaster 940 BX monitor is on the blink. When switching the monitor on there is a picture for about two seconds, then it switches itself back off again! Can anyone tell me where I need to start looking to repair this fault?

Backlights? Inverter.
You didn't mention what power light is doing.
Can you see picture image very dim? - may have to shine a light / look closely. |
