Hi, I'd be really grateful if anyone can help.
I have a 1997 General Motors Vauxhall Astra and I require the radio code.
The radio maunufacturer: Philips.
The radio model: Car 400.
The radio serial number: GM0400X2459456.
Thanks in advance for any help.  |

Hi,
The serial number is definitely GM0400X2459456 which is stamped into the metal casing.
However there is a paper label with further information:
No.: 09 136 106
Type: CAR 400
2F3
There are also two bar codes on the paper label with the following numbers:
9022 213 99759 00
003 9928 2459456
Finally there is also a number in the bottom left hand corner:
WA009928

Hi flc,
Sorry to say that I don't think you'll have any luck.
I couldn't find anything useful anywhere on the internet for my Philips Car 400.
I went to a local TV/electronics repair shop. The guy there plugged something onto a microchip on te circuit board of the stereo and came up with a code for £10 GBP. |
