The code for this old Clarion PU-9318A has been obtained from reading + calculating from the soldered links on the circuit board but it cannot be entered because the radio is possibly locked ( It has 1234 permanently on the display instead of a blank )
Do any of you experienced experts know if this will automatically unlock itself by the usual method of leaving it switched ON for several hours or is there another method?
(It`s been left switched on overnight already and nothing has changed )
Thanks |

No it hasn`t..I`ll leave it a bit longer then try that later this afternoon so that I can leave it overnight again.
I was wondering whether these older , link type units ( pre EEPROM) had some form of "pin short circuit reset" facility...hence the question.
I`ve Googled but not found anything.
Thanks for the suggestion |
