The serial number should contain two letters/four numbers/one letter/seven numbers or somthing like on this picture below...



An example of serial numbers commonly found on Grundig Car Radios :
GR0971Y1235456
GM0203Y1245512

Well this is a south african make,if you have the calculator just ignore the first two digits that should do the trick.
