Please help me!

I recently replaced the battery and alternator in my wife's Beetle and now we can't find the code. The dealer said they require me to drive there to retrieve the code but the nearest one is over 2 hours away and I can't afford to take a day off to get the code. I tried one of the decoders I found online and it wouldn't allow the second "Z" in the serial.

The radio is a Premium IV out of a 99 Beetle
serial: VWZ9Z7X5016663

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
