hi guys i am new to your forum i was given a sharp hi fi for my sons bedroom but when it is switched on display just shows protect the model is CD-BA2000 SERIAL NUMBER 01213444 ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS PLEASE  |

I believe that these units use an amp-pac for the output section. It is not the easiest to access. I have seen a number of these over the years that fail. Replace the amp-pac and the problem should be resolved.
