Grundig car 200d radio code

Hi

My son has bought a Corsa 1997 with a Grundig Radio 200D while the radio works fine we do not have the code should the battery need to be dis-connected for maintenance etc can you help

The only code we can see from the underneath is 90 462 562. Vauxhall quoted £20.00 for the code but the radio is not really worth that.
