Well the title says it all.
I have Yorkville YSM1p series 2 active studio monitors and, with great effort to be as stupid as possible plugged one into a 220V outlet (having just moved continents) and a flash of light from the back woke me up to what I had just done . My finger was still on the switch and I immediately switched it back off. They are rated for 120V only.
I now have a step down converter and only one working monitor.
Did I totally kill it?
What can I do to try and fix it?
I really hope somebody here can help out!
thank you. |
