Sharp Aquos Black Screen?

It's a Sharp Aquos LC-37GB5U. When I turn it on the screen is black in all inputs (except component which flashes from black to a gumbled staticy screen). I have tried all the inputs and triped the reset buttons. There is no sound. The menu comes up fine, crystal clear, as do all controls (inputs, volume, channel, etc.). I just replaced the tuner board to no effect. Any body have any idea what it can be. I am hoping to get a better idea of what the deffective component may be before I get too deep into this thing money wise.

What board do I need to replace? The main board? The digital board?

Sounds like the digital main is bad.
