this sonys picture started flashing on and off whenever it has a cable or antenna input. If it is just a channel with no signal the picture stays on. If I put a video signal in it stays on fine.
Any ideas?

Resolder the vertical ic before you toutch the tuner. If it is the tuner take it apart and toutch up all the ground points.
