I have a piece of analog musical equipment from the mid 80's--a Dynacord CLS-222 Leslie Simulator which is making a loud hum, I believe at 120 cycles, that rises and falls with the output level. Is this a power supply problem?
Any suggestions?

| loud hums are usually associated with filter capacitors..Your musical equipment being old enough..try checking the filter capacitors on the power supply section it could be leaky. |
