Does anyone have a solution for the flashing green light of death?
I've done the reset, the unplug wait 3 minutes plug it in again.
It shut itself off. I got it to come back on then it ran about 29 seconds and shut off again. Now that stinking flashing light is back.
Any suggestions? |

OK, if anyone else has had this problem, I just read a post and tried their solution and it seems to have fixed the problem.
I held the Menu and Device down on the front panel for about 8 seconds. The green light flashed differently from before. Then the light went off.
It powered back on and has been running for about 25 minutes so far.
Does anyone know if this is a temporary solution or does this fix the problem?
Lamp is not very old. |

| Replacing the bulged caps on the power supply is a good start. |

Well, TV finally gave into the ghost. Will be replacing all those dratted black caps. The power supply bit the dust. Once that black caps are replaced I have to see what else might have been done in, in the process. Does anybody have any suggestions on what else to look for?
I am coming to terms that even though the TV was given to me for free by a relative, that I might have been better off buying and LCD instead.
This thing has been a major disappointment.

| You can send in the whole chassis to Mitts and they will rebuild it for free! |
