Hi there.
I played around with the settings in the service alignment menu(SAM), and now unfortunately My TV only shows a red flashing led 3hz.
According to the service manual the flashing led means that the TV has entered software protection mode.
I want to reset those settings in the SAM, either through entering the SAM through SDM(service default mode) or directly!
Entering the the SDM (or SAM either) through shortcutting two solder pads on the SSB should accordingly to the service manual override all software protections.
So : from standby mode I shortcut the SDM pads, TV makes a noise and restarts. Same with problem with shortcutting the SAM, TV restarts and goes back (after a slight while) to the flashing led.
Shouldn't entering the SDM or SAM via the pins start the TV up and bring me to a menu, I mean the software protection mode is overridden?
Would be happy if someone could help me out on this!
