Compaq 1400 laptop

Hello, some keys on my laptop won't work(x,c b,n,m,, . /) all on sime line.
Trying to open it to see if any clean up will do it in the keyboard but can't open the laptop.

can someone pls send me or post service manual for a compaq presario 1400 laptop.

Hi, I have the same laptop and my enter key and arrow keys were busted. Unfortunately I don't have exactly the answer you are looking for, but I thought maybe this would help a bit. I used this program to map my broken keys to other keys that I wouldn't normally use: http://www.randyrants.com/2004/03/sharpkeys_11_of.html
It was a great solution for me, but maybe not very satisfactory in your case for replacing common letter keys.
