Thomson TM9133 CD Radio Cassette - CD pickup assembly

Hi,

I'm troubleshoot the above set & narrow the fault down to a weak CD laser.

Can someone tell me the part no. for CD pickup assembly for Thomson TM9133? This is a 1998-99 CD radio cassette portable.

The pickup assembly has a "strange" 2-liner print that reads:

"1 16 43 0
980508 10"

Does this look like a part no. to u? Am I looking at the wrong place?

Any ideas?

Ok, I've since disassembled the set and found another label at the top of the CD transport:

"TCM122-5"

It seems like the pickup assembly comes together with the transport - the flexible connectors are hard soldered from the assembly to the control board...

Not sure if its worth replacing as I could get a new set for ard S$79 here in Singapore!
