Pioneer Vsx-816 reciever

I have this pioneer reciever that has a audible hum (does not over power the music )with multichannel use and the subwoofer output has nothing but a hum .
I know that it is dirt cheap unit but would like to use it in the shop so can someone tell me where to look for the problem .The local repair shops will not sell or copy the schematics for me .
I know the unit does not hum in stereo mode (never checked the subout if it had the hum in stereo mode ).
So if anyone has an idea where to look it would be a great help

Two channel (stereo mode) should be plenty of sound for a shop.
