Could you help me please?
I have a sanyo tv cep-1497e wich led power blinks when
we turn on it or when we push some remote control key.
Do you have some idea?

Justo, probablemente, tengas mal el transformador de lineas. Para comprobarlo, intenta arrancar el tv varias veces seguidas,(bien con el teclado local o con el mando a distancia) y verifica si se calienta el transistor de lineas. Un saludo. |

Thank you Guest,
I don´t have high voltage, because the tv just stay in " stand by mode ",
when we try turned it to one chanel the power led just blinks, the high voltage can not boot, and the lines transistor is ok.

I have no experience with model mentioned- but it really is a matter of analysing the symptoms, & checking components/voltages in the deficient section. In this case, cold check ALL components in the HOT power section, replace faulty comp. as neccessary- disconnect drive to hoz, vert, yoke etc till B+ is correct for model- then for instance, if B+ say 115v, but when say hoz is connected set shuts down, then the hoz section must be checked for faults. It really is a matter of knowing how to test components, & having or making the testers needed. |

This seems a typical fault in final transistor 2sd1649. It could be shortcircuit. Check it, but remember that this kind of transistor has a dump diode between collector and emisor electrodes |

Hi! I Hope you can help me
I just found a Sanyo CEP1497E on the street, it looks ok BUT it dosn't have the cable to conect it to the power source, i just wanted to know where is this cable supposed to go 'cause i don't see any plug on the tv...
