Panasonic TX25AD2 Screen flashes continuously from boot

Hi I have a Panasonic TX25AD2 television. (UK PAL CRT). Upon switching on set the display flashes. A few years ago I sat down and tried to diagnose and repair, without a manual. With the help of Television magazine and my limited experience ot television servicing, I found it to be a dry joint on a module. (L/F?) Wasn't able to resolder it at the time (rubbish soldering iron). I started new employment, became too busy and the employer stole my equipment including new rework iron, so I put the repair aside and left it ... and left it ....
Now I can't remember what the module was and Television magazine ceased production a few years ago. I recall it was a very common fault with the particular chassis. I was hoping to get another year or so life out of the set until I see which way the television market goes. Also don't want to spend on a new television and an aerial (antenna) and wiring at the same time (Txer switched over to digital on Wednesday, so forking out for DAB and DVB terrestrial aerials). Does anyone know the module name or part number? It would be a great help, thank you.
