sony kv 27ts35 shuts down on cold start

Hi, I have a sony kv 27ts35. It shuts down on a cold start. If I give it a love tap it stays on for a while then shuts down again. After finally warming up it's ok. I brought it in for repair and the technision resoldered some parts. It was fine for a month then it started doing it again. I brought it back 3 more times under there 3 month warranty, this thing must weigh a 100 lbs, I'm tired of lugging it back and forth. When this tv is working properly it's nice to watch. I'm ready to throw it out, I have a soldering iron, is it hard to re-solder these components myself? What should I look out for before I start?
