Hell everyone!
I'm in the process of working on a Phillips TV Model 27pt5441/37. The issue is the set keeps blowing fuses one after the other. I traced the issue to what I beleive to the the primairy transformer (no signs of overheating, etc.). I unsoldered the transformer from the PCB and powered the unit and the fuse didn't blow. Few questions: What would the odds be that the transformer would cause the problem? Is there any way to test the transformer out? And finally if it isn't suspected that the transformer is the issue what could some of the other possibilities be.
Thanks in advance for your help. It is greatly appriciated!
