Hitachi 65SWX20B power, sound but no picture!

hi all,
i have the tv listed in the title and it suddenly stopped showing a picture. the power still comes on and sound emanates...however, no image whatsoever. does anyone please have any insight as to potential repairs? if so, please let me know and many thanks in advance...

ps-i have dl'd the service manual and have looked over some parts of it but did not find it too helpful...
