my sharp t.v. just makes a clicking nose when i try to turn it on but nothing happens. |

Sounds like a SMPS (Switched Mode Power Supply) fault. The problem with these power supplies is that there are lots of components and they run fairly warm and very fast, that's where I'd start. |
