I havea mitsibushi CT14MS1BM TV in pieces due to the heaters repeated going off at random The line scan it operating and EHT and other line outputs remain working. The tube and all connections are fine but no voltage appears at the heater connections on the flyback line transformer.
The winding has a low reistance and when operating provides 1.745 volts. When it stops you can see the picture slowly fade away all at normal scan and size. Any Ideas welcome. Regards Peter |

If you have a CRT tester, try running the tube and see if filaments remain on. If so, you have a bad connection somewhere between the CRT pins and the flyback pins. Try reflowing all solder joints along this path. _________________ You're over there, I'm over here. |
