I have an older Sansui Stereo Amplifier Model AU-9500 that is giving me some grief. My problem is sporatic and intermitent speaker static (crackle). Have you experienced this problem and how was it corrected?

Thanks for your responce. After some additonal testing, here's what I'm up against. I've cleaned all the switches and contacts with a deoxidizer, and this annoying problem is still there. It appears the problem is only in the right side speaker circuitry. With the right side speakers competely disconnected, output on the left side appears to be OK and normal, however with the right side speakers connected to the back of the amp even with the balance control adjusted completely to the left side, the speaker static through the right side speakers is completely overpowering anything coming from the left side speakers. Any suggestion how this annoying static can be eliminated? Question
Thanks for your comments.

I got a sansui AU-9500, but theres a problem. almost no sound is coming out of left speaker. I wonder if you would have a service manual for this amp.
