Thanks Minnie for the detailed repair procedure because my son asked me to repair the set he owns. I replaced the thermistor as mentioned in the previous thread with the updated part (212066100025) in position 3507. Initially the set turned ON after doing a 5 second hold of the Power button. After about 20 minutes of operation, it appears all power is gone since the video and audio are lost. The Power lamp blinks the 3-2-1 code. I again did a Power On Reset and now the Power lamp blinks 11 times and then does the 3-2-1 code.
Should I be considering the outlay of ~$28 to get the Sams?
Any suggestions? _________________ Dan K. |
