Hello all! I know it's a bit on the late side but I have the same problem with the pcb2310 pioneer plasma TV power supply board. I have replaced the cap (C106 250v 648nf), diode package (DU101), and resistor (R133 0.1ohm).
The reason I replaced the capacitor C106 was because I wasn't getting any voltage beyond that point. After replacing it the first time, it made a huge pop! After replacing the DU101 and the C106 (again) it ran fine for a good minute then just shut off. Next I saw the R133 complete fried so I replaced it (Brown, Black, Silver, Gold). Now R101 and R102 start to smoke and get really hot and the power button has no affect.
Thought I would throw this info out there who ever is still messing with these TVs still
Good luck! |

Check your transformers, one of them is defective and is ruining the resistors. |

Same problem with my unit, though R208 blew. Can anyone tell me what value this is?
Where can I get a schematic to this unit (PCB2310 A06-124196B)?
Thanks!

Hi,
got the same issue, can see R133 has blown but just gonna replace the whole board instead. Trying to source and replace the resistors, transistors and diodes will work out fairly expensive and most likely never rid of the weakness. The new PCB2310 have been revised with a 5 watt R133 resistor, believe its a .47 ohm. |

I don't think R133 is 800 ohm, rather 0.1 ohm. R133 on mine is Brown, Black, Silver, Gold which equals 10*10^-2 @ 5%. This is obviously a design defect as I've seen several of these on forums with the same issues (including mine). I am going to replace R133 (.1 ohm), R217 (.47 ohm), Q127 and Q128. I figure that should get me another couple years.
