Well, I broke down and paid $125 to have it fixed. It was a toss up since I think I could get another new one for about that price. But I still like it despite some of its irregularities. Some things are hard to change. |

I have had the same problem. I cannot tell you which component is bad because I have not found it yet, but I do know the problem is on the a/v board. I had another broken unit that suffered a different problem and stole the a/v board from it and the problem went away. I have another one that does it but I have not yet found the exact source. |

|
I have had this unit for about two years. The system has a standby switch that turns red when in standby and green when on. Now it cycles between green and red and doesn't turn on. Seems like I read in some reviews that this is a common problem. I don't want to take it to get fixed. Is there a way to bypass this standby mode. I opened the unit and the power plugs into a circuit board. Any suggestions? |
