First, you should check all of your speakers and speaker wires for shorts and grounds. If they check out all right, press the reset switch which should be on the subpanel behind the face. There will be a small hole about the size of a pencil tip. If there is no reset switch, disconnect the battery for a few seconds. If it still stays in protect, you may have a bad output IC. |

Hi I have a kenwood car radio that every time I try turning it on the protect light turns on and the radio wont work. What are some things that could be causing it to do this? |
