I also found the ones you could buy---was hoping someone could help me. I was a Pfaff dealer until 2 months ago and now cannot access the service manuals. I wouldn't think I would need the whole manual, just the reset information.

If you say so...

Service manual is also available via a Google search. (Alas, I could not find one for 'free.')

There should be a sequence of buttons to push to get to factory default. this would be in a service manual---we have the machine manual, but not the service manual.

Switch on the sewing machine to avoid deleting the memories during the battery change.

If the batteries are weak or no batteries have been
inserted, the message “Change batteries” will
appear in the display when you switch the machine
on. If the batteries are too weak, the programmed
P-designs and the stored patterns in a pattern se
quence will be lost. If there are no batteries in the
machine, press the “o.k.” key or activate the foot
control. Then the machine will be ready to sew.
(For battery change see page 156.)

Can a program be added to a memory location?
(Instruction manual is available via a Google search.)

The machine was turned off when changing the batteries--the display said low battery--then on turning on the machine made a almost weird noise, and now will not go to default (2.5 length) when turning on the machine.

Everything was fine, but hadn't ever changed the batteries ... now 'this?'
OR
Hoping to alleviate 'this' by changing the batteries?

Changing the batteries:
Switch on the sewing machine to avoid deleting the memories during the battery change.
Tilt the machine over on the side as illustrated. The battery compartment is installed in the base. Using a screwdriver lightly push the catch into
recess A, lift it, and remove the cover. Take out the batteries. Insert the new batteries E with the + side facing upwards.
Insertion of the batteries is done in reverse order.

Note: After changing the batteries, the contents of the memories should be checked.
Spare batteries: 2 Mignon cells 1.5 V; type LR 6.
Only use leak-proof batteries!

I am looking for the instructions to reset the Pfaff 7570 to default settings? We have just changed the battery and the stitches are not the right size on any setting.
