I've worked on half a dozen of LCD TV's with the same symptom.
I all cases, they acted like you are describing.
They turn on perfect, and only stay on for about a second, and then the backlight turns off.
After replacing a lot of parts, they all turned out to be worn out display lamps.
I'd suggest starting checking that first. Think of the backlight display lamp to be similar to a worn out fluorescent light tube. |

Hello, i have a lcd monitor, the model is the one in the description. My problem is as i describde'd. I checked the capacitor's and they are good. Anyone has any ideea's what might be the cause? |
