Hello.

Can anyone help me with a Samsung laptop, model NP300E5A?

It doesn't see any power coming from the PSU. It does power up from the battery, but that won't last long if it's not charging.

I have opened it up to get at the power socket, but there doesn't seem to be any problem there with contacts or tracks/traces. Power comes out, so I need to know where it goes.

• Is this a known weakness in this laptop model?
• Can someone provide a circuit diagram/schematic?
• Can someone point to a resource where I can be sure to get info for component-level tracing? (I don't want to pay for a PDF and then find out it's not detailed enough.)
