Thanks for your suggestion anyway. I am always trying to fix any broken device because I like it.....The circuit is quite simple and the IC is probably working well. I was looking for the data sheet just to pinpoint the possible failure in the PCB in an easier way. I 'll keep investigating then!!! Bye

Typical wisdom would be; Why fix an electric tooth brush?
However, it is beside the point when posting for information.
While I do not have the data, it is more than likely a copycat of a "7101" number originally made by a legit manufacturer. Could be anything from a regulator to an optocoupler switch to... Search for "7101" and compare.
I run across this often and as a rule of thumb especially when there is no logo of any kind, it is a copycat and due to lower costs not only it will make it in to consumer products, there will be no specific datasheet.---(logos are copied too)
May have better luck drawing the actual diagram if it is worth your time.

Hello all,

I am lookin for the data sheet of a 8 pin IC SMT used on an electric toothbrush from Braun Oral B Type 3709. I found a link saying the mnufacturer is Lumino, I think a chinese one, but no data sheet yet available. It simply monitors the pushbutton to switch on the Mosfet driving the motor, and probably it also control the battery charge, but I need some more information, if possible.

Thanks in advance for your help!
