DEAR IT APPEARS THAT SOME PART IS SHORT INSIDE THE TV.IF THE SOUND IS LIKE CRACKERS RECTIFIER DIODES MAY BE SHORT.IF SOUND IS LIKE CHATTERING EHT(LINE OUTPUT TRANSFORMER) MAY BE LEAKY. SO WHAT U HAVE TO DO ALL IS OPEN THE TV.AND KEENLY OBSERVE EHT FOR ANY HOLE/BRUST.SWITCH ON THE TV U MAY BE ABLE TO SEE THE FAULED SECTION.IN MOST OF THE CASES LIKE THIS EHT(LOT) IS FOUND TO BE TROUBLESOME.IF NOT SO.DISCONNECT POWER SUPPLY WIRES OF SMPS FROM REST OF CIRCUITRY(OR OPEN INDUCTOR COIL L) AND MEASURE DC VOLTAGES.AND OBSERVE DOES SOUND STOPS. HI, I have got a 32 inch rca entertainment series televison, model #f36649 and chasie #ctc203ca5. I turned it on one day and only got a loud buzz sound with no picture (the screen stayed black) and no sound, except for the buzz. naturaly I unplugged it. now, when ever I dare to plug it in, that is all it does does is make the buzz sound. What could be the problem and with my limited (i.e replacing the vid card and modem in my pc) knowledge could I fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Oderus. |
