On the volume control nob is a red led light. Normally it keeps solid red. Now it's been flashing. I use the receiver for surround sounds on my TCL 📺. The TV doesn't have any A/V jacks, only hdmi and USB ports. I've added a hdmi converter that allows me to plug in the audio plugs and output to the TV with hdmi cord. Every now and then I'll hear a series of clicks and humming the surround sound briefly comes on and then right back out
